Same Dandong P.900 architecture used across VSF's Submersible line. Full hacking seconds, smooth hand-winding, and a quick-set date at 3 o'clock with no lag. No decorative overlay plates — every gear and bridge on the movement is functional.
Dial: Verde Smeraldo fumé gradient
The dial transitions from bright emerald green at the center to near-black at the lower edge. It's a polished gradient, not matte, so the light shifts across the surface as the watch angle changes. The date at 3 o'clock is balanced by the small seconds register at 9. Indices are applied, white gold-tone plated, and heavily filled with Super-LumiNova.
Case: 44mm brushed steel
The 44mm cushion case is 316L steel with a satin-brushed eSteel finish — matte, uniform, no polished case surfaces. The crescent crown guard lever is engraved with "eSteel," which is specific to this reference family. Lever tension is set to apply even pressure against the winding stem gasket for consistent sealing. At 13.3mm thick, the case sits proportionally between Panerai's 47mm and smaller models.
Bezel: high-gloss green ceramic
The bezel uses a mirror-polished emerald green ceramic insert rather than matte ceramic. The graduations are crisp, and the bezel clicks at 1-minute intervals with firm tactile engagement and no reverse backlash. The luminous capsule at zero is correctly set into the ceramic.
Strap
Green recycled PET fabric with a brushed steel trapezoidal buckle. Soft on skin, dries fast, more casual than rubber or leather.
Things to check in QC
The gradient on the dial should be seamless from bright green center to dark edge with no visible banding. The eSteel engraving on the crown lever should be sharp. The ceramic bezel should be glossy — a matte bezel on this reference is the wrong insert. Bezel clicks should be firm at each minute position with no grinding or play.
