The PAM01274 is Panerai's updated 42mm Luminor Due with a deep blue sunburst sandwich dial, rose gold-toned hands, and the cleaned-up minimalist dial text — only "PANERAI" below 12 o'clock, no "Luminor Due" or "Automatic" markings. VSF Watch version runs the Dandong P.900 movement in a fully mirror-polished steel case on a dark blue alligator-embossed leather strap.

Dial: cleaned-up minimalist text
The defining change on this reference is the dial text. Older Due models like the PAM00927 carried "Automatic" above 6 o'clock. The PAM01274 drops all extra text — only "PANERAI" sits below 12. The result is a cleaner dial that lets the blue sunburst finish run uninterrupted. The sandwich construction has cut-outs at 12 and 6 with stick indices elsewhere, backed by vintage beige Super-LumiNova. The hands are rose gold-toned with beige luminous fill. Against the deep blue dial, the warm rose gold gives the watch a more formal, less tool-watch look than the steel-hand variants.
Case: 10.5mm polished Due profile
At 10.5mm, the Due case is roughly 5mm thinner than a standard Luminor. Full mirror polish across the cushion body, fixed bezel, and crown guard lever. No brushed surfaces anywhere. It clears a dress cuff without resistance. The crown guard engages with correct tension against the stem gasket.
Movement: Dandong P.900
Same slimmer P.900 architecture used across VSF's Due and Submersible lines. Integrated clone, not a modified base movement with extra plates — that's what keeps the case at 10.5mm. Hacking seconds, smooth winding, quick-set date that flips cleanly at midnight.
Strap
Dark blue alligator-embossed leather with tone-on-tone stitching. The polished steel Pre-V tang buckle matches the case finish. The strap color ties into the blue dial for a monochromatic look.
Things to check in QC
The blue dial should show visible sunburst movement under different light. Only "PANERAI" should appear below 12 — any "Automatic" or "Luminor Due" text means the wrong dial. The rose gold hands should read as warm rose, not yellow-gold. The case should be fully polished with no brushed surfaces. Sandwich cut-outs should have clean edges. The date should sit centered and flip cleanly. At 10.5mm, the case should read as noticeably thinner than a standard Luminor.
