The dial is matte white — no sunburst, no gloss. The dark grey luminous markers use a sandwich-style construction at 12 and 6 with stick indices elsewhere. The small seconds hand at 9 is red, which is the defining visual element of the Luna Rossa edition and the only splash of color on the dial. "LUNA ROSSA" is printed above 6 o'clock, clean and centered. The date at 3 completes the layout. Against the matte white background, every element reads clearly without glare.
Case: polished 42mm Due profile
The Due case is the standard slim 42mm profile, fully mirror-polished across the cushion body, fixed bezel, and locking crown guard. No brushed surfaces. The crown guard lever engages with correct tension.
Movement: Dandong automatic
The Dandong automatic clone matches the Panerai caliber architecture. Smooth hand-winding, hacking seconds, quick-set date that flips cleanly at midnight. Solid power reserve and timekeeping stability.
Strap: bi-material Luna Rossa
The strap is a grey technical textile bonded over a rubber core, with a bold red center stripe running down the middle. It's water-resistant and more durable than leather — suited to the sailing theme. The polished steel Pre-V tang buckle matches the case finish.
