The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 2503.33.00 is the first-generation Aqua Terra from 2003. Before the teak deck pattern dials and the larger case sizes, the Aqua Terra was a 39.2mm watch with a clean silver dial and heat-blued hands and indices. No texture, no waves, no gimmicks. Just a well-proportioned sports watch that works with a suit or a t-shirt. VSF Watch version gets the dial color and the blued hands right.

The dial. Silver with heat-blued hands and applied indices. The bluing is a thermal oxidation process that turns steel a specific shade of deep blue. It is not paint. Under direct light the hands shift from almost black to a bright metallic blue. The indices are simple applied batons with no numerals. The date at 3 is white on white with a silver surround. The dial is deliberately plain. No teak pattern, no sunburst, no texture. The first-gen Aqua Terra was Omega's answer to the Datejust, and the simplicity was the point. VSF got the silver tone correct and the blued hands have the right color shift.

The movement. Dandong 2500 automatic. Based on Omega's caliber 2500, which was itself an ETA 2892 with Omega's co-axial escapement added. The 2500 was the first co-axial movement Omega put into serial production. VSF's clone has the date at 3 and the correct winding feel. The exhibition caseback shows the movement finishing and the rotor. It is not decorated to P.9010 standards but it is correctly laid out.

The case. 39.2mm in 316L steel. The sides are brushed and the lugs are polished. The bezel is a fixed polished ring. No dive bezel, no crown guard. The proportions are compact by modern standards. Under 40mm, under 12mm thick. It wears smaller than any Submersible and slides under a dress cuff without resistance. VSF's brushing and polish transitions are clean.

The bracelet. Solid 316L steel with a push-button deployant clasp. The links are brushed on the top surfaces and polished on the sides. The clasp is a twin-trigger push-button release. The bracelet is comfortable and the articulation is smooth. No micro-adjustment, which is period-correct for the original.
