The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 231.50.42.21.06.002 is the full rose gold version with the grey teak dial. Rose gold plating on the case, the bezel, and the integrated bracelet. The grey dial with the vertical teak pattern is the same one Omega puts in the steel Aqua Terras, but against the rose gold it reads warmer and more deliberate. The gold. Rose gold plating on the case, bezel, crown, and bracelet. The plating runs across every visible metal surface. VSF's rose gold tone has the right copper content. It reads warm with a reddish undertone rather than the brassy yellow that cheaper plating produces. A full gold Aqua Terra is louder than the steel versions by a wide margin. If the steel Aqua Terra is a daily watch, the rose gold one is a statement. VSF's plating is consistent across the case and bracelet links. The butterfly clasp is correctly engraved.
The dial. Grey with the vertical teak deck pattern. The teak stripes are evenly spaced and the grey has a subtle metallic undertone. The applied indices are rose gold to match the case. The broad-arrow hands are rose gold with Super-LumiNova fill. The date at 3 has a white disc with black numerals and a rose gold surround. The dial is busier than the first-gen Aqua Terra but the grey and rose gold pairing keeps it from feeling cluttered. VSF got the grey tone and the teak pattern spacing correct.

The 8500 is the movement VSF uses across the Aqua Terra and Seamaster lines. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean. The exhibition caseback shows the movement finishing and the rotor.
The bracelet. 3-link integrated rose gold plated bracelet with a butterfly clasp. The links are brushed on the top surfaces and polished on the sides, same finishing scheme as the steel Aqua Terra bracelets. The butterfly clasp opens with a push-button release. The rose gold plating on the bracelet is the same tone as the case. No micro-adjustment, which is standard for the Aqua Terra bracelet design. The rose gold bracelet with the grey dial is a specific look. It is not an everyday piece for most people, but if you want a gold sports watch that is not a Submariner or a Datejust, this is the one.
