The Omega Constellation 41mm 131.33.41.21.01.001 is the all-steel 41mm Constellation with the black ceramic bezel and the black dial on the leather strap. It is the monochromatic counterpoint to the gold and blue ceramic Constellations. The black ceramic bezel with the silver-filled Roman numerals gives it a more modern, less traditional look than the engraved steel bezels on the 38mm models. The 41mm case wears larger but the steel construction keeps the weight manageable. VSF Watch got the ceramic bezel, the black dial, and the integrated strap right.

The bezel. Polished black ceramic with silver-filled Roman numerals. The ceramic is glossy and reflects light. The silver fill is flush with the ceramic surface. There is no raised texture. The polished steel claws at 3 and 9 grip the bezel. The contrast between the glossy black ceramic and the polished steel is the most modern-looking bezel treatment in the Constellation range. VSF got the ceramic polish and the silver fill right.
The dial. Black sunburst with rhodium-plated faceted indices and dauphine hands. The sunburst grain is visible in direct light and disappears in shadow. The rhodium-plated hands and indices match the steel case. The date at 6 keeps the symmetry. The Constellation star is applied in silver above the date. The black dial with steel markers is the most neutral and versatile colorway. VSF got the black tone and the sunburst grain right.
The case. 41mm in 316L steel. Brushed surfaces with polished bevels along the case edges. The crown is fluted steel. The caseback is steel with a sapphire exhibition window. At 41mm and 13.5mm thick, the watch has more wrist presence than the 38mm models but still fits under a dress cuff. The weight is standard for a steel dress watch of this size.
The movement. Dandong 8900 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels for stable power delivery. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks for time zone changes without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. The exhibition caseback shows the decorated movement with blackened screws and Geneva wave finishing. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean.
The strap. Black alligator-pattern leather with a rubber lining and a steel deployant clasp. The rubber lining protects the leather from sweat and makes the strap more durable in heat and humidity. The black strap and black dial with the steel case create a monochromatic look. The deployant clasp is brushed and polished to match the case finishing. The strap integrates cleanly with the case lugs and wears comfortably out of the box.
