The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M "Summer Blue" 220.10.41.21.03.005 is the 75th anniversary edition. Omega released a series of Summer Blue models across the Seamaster range to mark the anniversary. The Aqua Terra version has the gradient blue dial with the horizontal teak lines and the light blue lume. The 41mm case with the twisted lyre lugs and the polished bezel is the standard Aqua Terra profile. The solid caseback with the Poseidon engraving replaces the usual exhibition window. The dial. The Summer Blue gradient shifts from a bright pale blue at the center to a deeper ocean blue at the edges. The horizontal teak lines are laser-engraved across the surface. The rhodium-plated hands and wedge indices are filled with light blue Super-LumiNova instead of the standard white or green. The light blue lume matches the dial gradient and ties the anniversary look together. The date at 6 is color-matched to the dial blue with a white numeral. VSF got the gradient transition and the light blue lume tone right.
The case. 41mm in 316L steel. The Aqua Terra has a symmetrical case with no crown guards. The lyre lugs twist and have brushed sides with polished bevels. The bezel is a smooth polished ring. The crown is a screw-down. The solid caseback has the 75th anniversary Poseidon engraving instead of an exhibition window. The engraving quality is clean. The case at 41mm is the mid-size Aqua Terra between the 38mm and the 43mm. It fits under a dress cuff and reads as a sports watch that leans dress.
The movement. Dandong 8900 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks for time zone changes without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. The solid caseback hides the movement but VSF still finished it with Geneva wave decoration and blackened screws. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean.
The bracelet. 3-link steel with polished center links and brushed outer links. The butterfly clasp is concealed for a clean look. No micro-adjustment. The polished center links will pick up surface marks with daily wear, which is true of the gen. The bracelet is comfortable and the articulation is smooth.
