The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 231.10.42.21.02.006 is the silver wave dial edition. The dial has a transferred geometric wave pattern instead of the standard teak lines. The silver dial with the rhodium-plated hands and indices is monochrome and the 41.5mm case is the older Aqua Terra size from before Omega shifted to the 41mm platform. The Dandong 8500 movement has the independent jumping hour hand. VSF Watch got the wave pattern and the case finishing right.

The dial. The wave pattern on this reference is different from the horizontal teak lines on the current Aqua Terras. It is an interlocking geometric pattern that transfers onto the dial surface and catches light in small sections rather than long horizontal lines. The silver is bright and the rhodium-plated hands and faceted indices are monochrome against it. The date at 3 has a rhodium surround. The wave pattern gives the dial more visual texture than the smooth lacquered models without the gradient treatment. VSF matched the silver tone and the pattern spacing correctly.
The movement. Dandong 8500 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks for time zone changes without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. The exhibition caseback shows the decorated rotor and finishing. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean. The 8500 is the earlier generation movement. The current Aqua Terra models use the 8900. The 8500 is correct for this reference.
The case. 41.5mm in 316L steel. This is the previous-generation Aqua Terra size. The current models use 41mm. The 41.5mm case has the same lyre lug design with brushed sides and polished bevels. The bezel is a smooth polished ring. The crown screws down. The case is symmetrical with no crown guards. At 41.5mm and 13.2mm thick, it wears slightly larger than the current 41mm Aqua Terra but still fits under a dress cuff.
The bracelet. 3-link steel with brushed surfaces and polished outer link edges. The butterfly clasp is concealed. No micro-adjustment. The bracelet is comfortable and the articulation is smooth. The polished edges pick up surface marks with daily wear, which is standard for the Aqua Terra bracelet.
