The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 231.10.42.21.01.006 is the black wave dial variant with rose gold accents. The same transferred geometric wave pattern as the silver version, but on a black background with Sedna gold-plated hands and indices instead of rhodium. The black and rose gold combination is warmer than the monochrome silver version and reads more deliberately styled. The 41.5mm case with the lyre lugs and the polished bezel is the previous-generation Aqua Terra platform. VSF Watch got the wave pattern and the rose gold tone right.

The dial. Black with the transferred geometric wave pattern. The interlocking pattern is more visible on the black dial than on the silver because the contrast between the textured areas and the smooth areas is more pronounced in low light. It reads as a subtle texture at a distance and resolves into the repeating pattern up close. The faceted hands and wedge indices are Sedna rose gold plated. The warm gold against the black dial is the strongest visual element. The date at 3 has a gold surround. VSF matched the wave pattern and the rose gold tone correctly.
The gold. Sedna rose gold plating on the hands, the applied indices, the Omega logo, and the date window frame. Sedna is Omega's rose gold with a coppery undertone that reads warmer and less pink than standard rose gold. Against the black dial the gold pops more than rhodium or steel would. It is the only warm element on the watch.
The case. 41.5mm in 316L steel. The previous-generation Aqua Terra size with the lyre lugs. Brushed sides with polished bevels. The bezel is a smooth polished ring. The crown screws down. Symmetrical case with no crown guards. At 41.5mm and 13.2mm thick, the watch wears slightly larger than the current 41mm Aqua Terra.
The movement. Dandong 8500 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. Exhibition caseback with decorated movement. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean. The 8500 is the correct movement for this generation of Aqua Terra.
The bracelet. 3-link steel with brushed outer links and polished center elements. The butterfly clasp is concealed. No micro-adjustment. The polished surfaces pick up marks with daily wear. The bracelet is comfortable and the articulation is smooth.
