The dial. Blue sunburst with diamonds. The blue is the same deep tone as the smaller version, shifting from azure to navy depending on the light. The diamond markers sit in polished surrounds and the sparkle against the blue is the draw. At 41mm the dial has more area, so the blue reads richer and the diamonds have more space between them. The proportions stay balanced. Date at 3 under the cyclops.
The bezel. Fluted in steel with white gold plating. The plating gets the bezel closer to the genuine white gold look than bare steel would, and the fluted facets throw the signature Datejust light play. On the 41mm case the bezel has a larger surface area than the 36mm, so the reflection is more pronounced.
The movement. DD3235, the VSF 3235 clone. Genuine architecture, instant midnight date jump, robust 72-hour reserve. High chronometric stability, same movement across the whole Datejust line.
