The bezel. Grade 5 titanium with laser-ablated texture. This is the thing that separates the Nekton from every other Seamaster. Instead of the glossy ceramic bezel, the Nekton uses a frosted matte titanium insert with the diving scale numerals raised and polished. The matte background absorbs light and the polished numerals catch it, which gives the bezel a rugged, industrial look that the ceramic versions do not have.
