Black dial. The black dial is all about high-contrast legibility. The deep black face gives the applied baton markers and hands a stark backdrop. The markers are finished in polished steel and filled with Chromalight, so they glow blue and stand out against the dark dial in low light.
Fluted bezel. The deeply faceted fluted bezel catches and scatters light with every movement of the wrist. On the 41mm case it has more surface area to work with, so it throws off a bright sparkle that reads like 18K white gold and sets off the black dial.
