Movement: Dandong 4302
The Dandong 4302 is a ground-up clone of the modern AP caliber. The gear train layout matches gen, the date jumps instantaneously at midnight, and there's no ghost date position on the crown. The bridges are cleanly finished with a skeletonized gold-tone rotor visible through the sapphire caseback. It's the same movement VSF uses across their 15500 and 15510 Royal Oak line, so parts and service knowledge are reasonably established.
Dial: Khaki Green Grande Tapisserie
The 15510 generation brought two dial updates that VSF got right. First, the minute track is printed directly onto the tapisserie pattern rather than sitting on a separate outer ring — the waffle texture runs all the way to the edge. Second, the 12 o'clock position has a spelled-out applied logo instead of the old "AP" monogram. The tapisserie squares are CNC-cut with consistent depth, and the pattern catches light the way gen does.
Case and bracelet: 15510 refinements
The 15510 case differs from the 15500 in two ways. The polished bevels along the case edge are wider, which changes how light moves between the brushed and polished surfaces. The bracelet links taper more aggressively from the case to the clasp, so the watch wears lighter and sits flatter on smaller wrists. VSF machined both updates into this release rather than reusing old 15500 cases.
